Just like it sounds, you and your team will compete against other teams in a different sport each week. This fun and social league is perfect for those that can't decide what sports they like or for the team that is looking to find something new to do.
The fall season is 14 weeks long. The winner of the league will be the team with the highest winning percentage and fun points at the end of the season. Teams will find out the sports are being played each week and we will supply all the equipment necessary. Sports may include: ultimate, california kick ball, flag football and more.
When playing in Urban Rec Okanagan Coed Multi Sport, you will play two 25 minute halves on the same night each week; you just have to pick the night you want to play. Teams must be able to play in any of the time slots as the schedule will vary from week to week.
Grab your friends and form a team or sign up as individual to meet new people. Suggested team size is 10 players.
Do you love sports? Do you enjoy hanging out with your friends in a social enviroment that allows for team work? Multi-Sport combines the fun of the game with the fun of friends! Grab 10-12 of your friends and/or co-workers for a fun night out. Games are 1-hour timeslots between 6pm-10pm each week.
Each team gets a chance to experience playing a variety of coed team sports during the course of the season.
We have a variety of coed volleyball leagues for you to choose from, with leagues played at various locations in Kelowna. Leagues are offered from Sunday through Thursday nights (not all locations have leagues on all nights).
All teams that register must be able to play in any of the time slots for that league due to the possibility of reseeding.
A note about COVID-19: Our team is using current information and guidelines from Provincial agencies to inform our Fall recreation offerings. As COVID-19 is unpredictable, we will continue to be adaptable. Programs may need to be changed, moved or cancelled as this pandemic and associated measures evolve. e ask that you be patient and understanding if changes need to be made through the season.
