URO 4-on-4 Christmas Ball Hockey Tournament

Urban Rec Okanagan is happy to announce our first 2-day 4-on-4 tournament in over 4 years (with room for up to 12 teams)

All skill levels are invited to join us for this amazing tournament on Saturday, December 28th and Sunday, December 29th at Central Sports Club in Kelowna. Earliest games could start at 8am. End time will depend on the amount of teams registered.  Note – In the event that we get to 12 teams, a few local teams will be scheduled to play their first round-robin game on Friday night.

Team registration includes three round robin seeding games and one guaranteed playoff game. 

Teams must be available to play anytime on Saturday and Sunday (with local teams possibly playing a single game on Friday night)

Registration is $450 (Tax Included)

Full tournament rules will be updated prior to tournament date.

Registration deadline: December 23rd @ 5pm

Roster size:  No roster cap

Playoff Eligibility: To be eligible for playoffs, players must play one round-robin game

Guaranteed games: 3 round-robin + 1 playoff game

Start time/Finish time: Registration dependent

Divisions: Recreational and Intermediate and Intermediate Plus (all divisions will be registration dependant and playoff format will not be decided until all round-robin games are played).

Number of teams: Up to 12 teams

Game times: 2x20 minute periods

Tie breakers:

- Round Robin - Shootout.

- Quarterfinals – 5-minutes 4-on-4 OT + 5-minutes 3-on-3 OT + Shootout.

- Semifinals - Continuous OT.

- Finals - Continuous OT.
